Nipples on Mannequins? What’s the point?

Pardon the pun, but I couldn’t resist…

Have you notice lately that some Mannequins seem to be a bit nippy?

Could it be just a tad too cold in the store?  Are the girls just feeling sexy?

Last week I took my daughter to the mall, she needed to get some spring clothes and so off we went. I would much rather have a tooth pulled then spend time clothes shopping. So as I sat and tried to twitter from my iphone, I sensed something was a bit different in this department, and it made me a bit uneasy…

What is the purpose of putting erect nipples on the mannequins?

Do they think more men won’t mind shopping with their women if the mannequins have nipples?

Maybe the powers that be thought it would be a good way to show women how sexy it is to show your nips?

Have you as a woman ever wondered, “How my nipples will look in this?

Maybe we can’t have a body like the mannequin but we can have nipples like them?

Are they nursing?

What happens to the old nipple less mannequins? Chewing gum? Push Pin implants?

My daughter didn’t think it strange at all….

    This totally drives me crazy too! It is totally and completely unnecessary. I am not conservative, and I am in fact quite liberal…but come on …really? Nipples? The person who designed these mannequins needs to be slapped!

    It just shows that stores are trying to do anything for sales and unfortunately sex sells. I pray that this doesn’t continue.
